In the village of Barra, in Gambia, where the average daily income is less than $1.00/day, there lies a glimmer of hope, The Sajuka Education Center. The Sajuka Education Center was the passionate brain child of Momodou Lamin Fye, Founder and Director. I first became aware of Sajuka when my neice spent a week at the school during graduate school, a trip organized and sponsored by Bay Path University located in Longmeadow, MA. Her and her fellow Occupational Therapy students spent an unforgettable week working with the children at the Sajuka school.
MassageChairsGiveBack.com reached out to Nyillan Fye who is not only the American contact for the school, but also the founder's daughter. Nyillan has an incredible infectious passion for the work being achieved on behalf of not only the children, but the entire Barra community! She is so excited about the connection with MassageChairsGiveBack.com.
We will continue to track the efforts and achievements of the school and it's children. Please watch for more updates!
